Speaking with the last word, Kishta stressed that she had never carried out extremist activities: "I am a believer and a law-abiding citizen. My motive was love for God and my neighbor."


Transcript of the court session in the Elista City Court dated 06/05/2024 in the case 1-112/2024 on charges of Tutinova Kishta Ochirovna of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.


Menkova Ekaterina Vladimirovna:


Your Honor, I am accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but I do not plead guilty. I have never carried out extremist activities and I did not even have the intention. I have never had a motive for hostility or hatred, no one was hurt, I did not hurt anyone. I am a believer and a law-abiding citizen.


Reading the Bible, I learned a lot about God, about his qualities and purpose in relation to the earth and people. I found out that God's name is Jehovah. His name means: "I will become whatever I wish to become" (Exodus 3:14). And God wants people of all kinds to be saved and receive accurate knowledge (1 Tim.2:3, 4).


From this it is clear that God is not impartial. "He is alone above the whole earth" (Psalm 82:19, Synodal translation). The Epistle to the Romans says that "everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved" (Romans 10:13). You also need to believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (John 3:16). And to live in accordance with what is written in the Bible: "And all that was written before was written for our instruction" (Rom. 15:4).


And I am grateful to Jehovah God that by reading his Word, I got rid of bad habits, superstitions and foul language. The Gospel of John says: "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Indeed, my life has become better. Yes, I trust the Bible.: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:16).
