Your Honor, I want to begin my last word with gratitude. Thank you for giving us enough time to speak out and listening carefully. Given our legal incompetence, you have been patient and lenient. It was also touching to see your respectful attitude towards the name of God: it sounded right in the courtroom.

I am grateful to my lawyer Oleg Nikolaevich, who became my defender from the very beginning, almost five years ago. Oleg Nikolaevich delved into the essence of the case, constantly explained situations that were incomprehensible to me from the point of view of the law, and also gave convincing arguments in favor of my defense. I would also like to thank Angelina Ivanovna, who was my lawyer for a short time. She helped me with my written testimony and gave me a lot of useful and practical advice.

Thanks to Marina Nikolaevna and Elina Olegovna for the respectful attitude towards me and my friends. As for the accusations that were made in the courtroom, they only strengthened my faith, and I was confirmed in the correctness of my choice. In my defense, I applied what my God teaches me: to be honest, benevolent and peaceful. It helped me to keep my self-esteem and a clear conscience.

I also want to say a big thank you to Vera Nikolaevna and Natalia Petrovna for their friendly attitude and responsible attitude to work.

I am very grateful to my friends here for the fact that we overcame difficulties together. This hardened us, and we became even closer to each other and our God Jehovah. Thanks to my family and friends who supported me while in the city of Magadan, as well as those who did it from a distance.

Special thanks to my heavenly Father, who never left me, gave me peace, peace and strength. I always felt his approval because I didn't do anything to upset him.

I grew up in a simple working-class family and received an atheistic upbringing. I believed in the theory of evolution because that's what I was taught at school. As an adult, she led a normal lifestyle. In addition to my favorite job, my life was filled with various things: I got married, helped my family, traveled, loved the theater, talked with friends, and so on. But inside I always felt tired and empty. There was a feeling that this was not the meaning of life, it was in something else.

The birth of my long-awaited daughter gave my life new sensations, I felt joy. But there was still something missing inside. After some time, I learned and understood the meaning of Jesus' words recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 3: "Happy are those who are aware of their spiritual needs." Later, I read that, according to scientists, faith in God is genetically inherent in us. That's what I've been missing!

When I started studying the Bible, my life changed, as if it had been painted in different colors. The emptiness gradually disappeared, strength and joy appeared. It all started with the fact that I believed in the existence of God. It turned out to be easy. The simple principle of "cause — effect" helped, that is, if we see the effect of something, we understand that there must be a reason. For example, if a child comes home after school and sees lunch on the table (the consequence), then he understands that his mother (the reason) took care of him and cooked this food. And when we see that the Earth is full of food (consequence), does it not indicate a reasonable design in nature and that someone (cause) created our planet and takes care of it?

I'll give you another example. There are federal laws of the Russian Federation (investigation). We understand that someone (the reason) has developed, systematized and published these laws, but we only use them. But in the universe there are more complex, perfect laws (consequence). Based on these laws, people can calculate with mathematical precision at which point in space any body will be located at a given time. Such calculations are possible due to the regular and always predictable movement of celestial bodies, including the Moon and the Earth. Who developed and maintains these laws?

An interesting fact is that already at the dawn of the era of modern scientific research, Sir Isaac Newton came to one logical conclusion. His discoveries prompted him to write: "This most beautiful system of the Sun, planets and comets can only be the result of the design and dominion of a wise and powerful Personality." I totally agree with that!

In the Bible, this idea is expressed as follows: "Every house is built by someone, and God is the one who built everything" (Hebrews 3:4). In the book of Romans, chapter 1, verse 20, it is said about his invisible qualities that they are "clearly visible from the time the world was created, and we can see them by looking at His creations." For example, flowers. This is not food or water, without which a person cannot live. But there are many different varieties, shapes, colors, sizes, and flavors of beautiful flowers on earth. For every taste. How much love God put into people when He created them, because flowers are usually given to those they love.

People can create good-looking copies of what they see around them. But what do they really look like? Roman Vishnyak, who pioneered microscopic photography, talks about the miniature living world he looks into: "Nature, God, or whatever you want to call the Creator of the universe, appears clearly and strongly through a microscope. Everything made by human hands looks terrible when magnified — rough, uneven and asymmetrical. But in nature, every part of life is beautiful. And the more magnification we use, the more details loom out, perfectly formed, like endless boxes inside boxes."

In Psalm 104, verses 24 and 25, it says: "How many are Your works, O Lord! You have done everything wisely; the earth is full of Your works. This is a great and vast sea: there are reptiles that are innumerable, small animals with large ones." All these creations silently testify that there is a loving, wise and strong Creator. How did I not think about it before and did not notice it?

Later I found out that the Creator has a name. He himself said this through the prophet Isaiah: "I am Jehovah, this is my name" (Isaiah 42:8). At first, it was unusual for me, because I hadn't heard it before. But then I thought that each of us has a name, because we tend to give everything a name and names. At that time, I watched my little daughter do this with her toys. If this is natural for a child, then for me, an adult, it was clear that God should have a name all the more! In the Synodal translation, this name occurs from 7 to 9 times, and in ancient manuscripts — 7000 times.

It struck me that the name of God was previously known and preserved in some churches. For example, in 2012 I visited the Perm State Art Gallery, which was located in the former building of a once-functioning church built more than three hundred years ago. On the huge inner wall, about three stories high, decorated with handmade woodcarvers, in the center you could see the name of God in the form of four Hebrew letters. In Russian, they are pronounced as YGVG.

I was pleasantly surprised that the name of God was used in their works by well-known Russian and Soviet classics such as A. Pushkin, V. Mayakovsky, A. Tolstoy, A. Fet, V. Zhukovsky, M. Tsvetaeva, A. Kuprin, F. Glinka, M. Mussorgsky and many others. Later I found out that in 2018 the book "The Name Jehovah in the works of Nobel Prize laureates in Literature" was released. Over time, I got to know the God who bears this name better and fell in love with him.

Then I had to make sure that the Bible was a book given to us from above. The Bible writers themselves said that their thoughts were guided by God. For example, the Apostle Paul said: "All Scripture is inspired by God" (2 Timothy 3:16). I have found many confirmations and proofs of this.

For example, about 40 men wrote the Bible for 1600 years: from 1513 BC to 98 AD, those who wrote it lived at different times, which means that most of them did not know each other personally. These people had different backgrounds and education. Among them were shepherds, farmers, fishermen, prophets and even kings. For example, King Solomon, famous for his wisdom, being inspired by God, wrote three unique books of the Bible — Proverbs, the Song of Songs and Ecclesiastes. For centuries and up to the present day, people all over the world have enjoyed reading them.

Aprendí que la Biblia no es una colección de mitos y leyendas. Habla de personas reales; lugares que realmente existieron; eventos que realmente sucedieron. La Biblia es precisa en términos de ciencia, historia y arqueología. Este libro destaca problemas en diferentes áreas de nuestras vidas.

Los abogados aquí presentes pueden estar complacidos de saber que la Biblia también presta especial atención a los asuntos relacionados con la justicia. Palabras como tribunal, jueces, acusación, defensa, testigos, ley, ley se encuentran en él muchas veces. Uno de ellos fue registrado hace unos dos mil años en el libro de Apocalipsis, capítulo 11, versículo 18. Dice que el Creador sabía que recientemente habrá personas que "arruinarán" (literalmente destruirán) nuestra Tierra. Eso es exactamente lo que está pasando ahora.

Aprendí que cuando Jehová creó nuestro planeta, no quería que se volviera inhabitable. Creó un ecosistema, un complejo natural único en el que los organismos vivos y su hábitat están estrechamente interconectados. La gente ha perturbado este equilibrio, pero no puede restaurarlo.

Pero, afortunadamente, el futuro de la tierra no está en manos del hombre. Aprendí de la Biblia que nuestro Creador tiene un plan para recrear el paraíso que había en la tierra. En el libro del profeta Isaías, capítulo 35, versículos 1 y 2, promete: "Se regocijarán el desierto y la tierra seca, y la tierra deshabitada se regocijará y florecerá como un narciso; florecerá espléndidamente y se regocijará, triunfará y se regocijará."

Jehová restaurará la armonía perdida entre el hombre y la naturaleza. La gente vivirá en un mundo hermoso y limpio, similar al jardín del Edén, donde Adán y Eva vivieron una vez. Todos tendrán una salud perfecta. Ya nadie se enfermará, envejecerá ni morirá (Isaías 35: 5, 6). La tierra será fértil y alimentará generosamente a todos los que la habitan. Cada familia tendrá su propia casa, y la gente no tendrá que temer perderla. Todos disfrutarán de su trabajo. Conociendo mejor a nuestro Creador, aprenderemos a cumplir su tarea: cuidar nuestra casa común, el planeta Tierra, con amor.

¿Puede Dios recrear lo que los humanos han destruido? ¡Claro que sí! Solo él es capaz de compensar todos los daños causados a nuestro planeta. El Creador tomará las fuerzas de la naturaleza bajo su control total y restaurará el equilibrio climático. Él tiene suficiente sabiduría, fuerza, capacidades y deseo para hacer esto. "Dios no es un hombre al que mentir, y no es el hijo del hombre al que cambiar. ¿Dirá y no lo hará? ¿hablará y no lo hará?"(Números 23: 19).

Para que cada día que vivimos ahora nos traiga gozo y satisfacción, Jehová ha invertido mucha fuerza y amor en la creación de nuestro planeta. Esto sugiere que él quiere que la gente viva en la tierra para siempre y no muera. Para hacer esto, Dios destruirá la muerte para siempre. "Pero el último enemigo será destruido: la muerte" (1 Corintios 15:26). ¿Corresponde esto a nuestros deseos? ¿Es esto posible desde el punto de vista del sentido común?

¡Sí! Ninguno de nosotros quiere morir. Cuando estamos gravemente enfermos, vamos al médico, tomamos medicamentos y luchamos por la vida con todas nuestras fuerzas. Y cuando uno de nuestros seres queridos muere, sin importar la edad que tenga, tenemos un fuerte dolor mental durante mucho tiempo. ¿Por qué no aceptamos la muerte como un fenómeno natural, sino que experimentamos experiencias tan dolorosas? Por supuesto, al crear a una persona, nuestro cariñoso Creador quería que viviera para siempre y puso esta necesidad en nosotros. Él "puso paz [eternidad] en los corazones [de su pueblo]" (Eclesiastés 11: 3). Por lo tanto, promete, "Y enjugará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos, y no habrá más muerte, ni llanto, ni llanto, ni enfermedad" (Apocalipsis 21: 4).

Cuando escuché por primera vez estas promesas, pensé que eran demasiado buenas para creer en ellas. Ahora estoy seguro de que así será. Otra prueba son las personas que ya en nuestro mundo dividido realmente aman a Dios y a los demás. Esto es lo que dijo Jesús en el Evangelio de Juan, capítulo 13, versículo 35: "En esto conocerán todos que sois Mis discípulos, si os amáis unos a otros."Vi esto cuando me acerqué a esas personas. Su amor, apertura, amabilidad, disposición a perdonar, apoyarse mutuamente, inmediatamente me sentí cómodo y seguro con esas personas.

Me hice la pregunta: ¿de dónde viene tanta gente buena?  Entonces me di cuenta de que todos simplemente viven según las leyes de Dios. Jesús dijo: "La sabiduría se confirma por las obras "(Mateo 11: 19). En otras palabras, la sabiduría del consejo puede juzgarse por el resultado. Las personas aprendieron sabios consejos bíblicos, los aplicaron en la vida y Jehová los ayudó con su poder. Pensé que esto era lo que necesitaba y también quería cambiar.

Por supuesto, más tarde vi que los testigos de Jehová son personas tan imperfectas como todos los demás. En el libro de Eclesiastés, capítulo 7, versículo 20, está escrito: "No hay justo en la tierra que haga el bien y no peque."No importa cuánto lo intentemos, no siempre funciona de la manera que nos gustaría. Sucede que herimos los sentimientos de los demás, cometemos errores, ofendemos involuntariamente y nos ofendemos.

Pero cuanto más me acercaba a conocer a mis compañeros creyentes, más veía sus fortalezas y, lo más importante, cómo cada uno de ellos trata de resolver malentendidos utilizando principios bíblicos. Uno de ellos está registrado en el libro de Proverbios 19: 11: "El hombre astuto refrena su ira, y su hermosura es no dar importancia a la ofensa."

En la Epístola a los Romanos, el capítulo 12, el versículo 18, Pablo dice que uno debe estar "en paz con toda la gente."Esto significa que debemos estar en paz no solo en la familia y con los correligionarios, sino también con los vecinos, compañeros de trabajo, compañeros de clase y personas que conocemos en la vida cotidiana. Sin embargo, al dar consejos, el apóstol hace una reserva :" En la medida de lo posible de tu parte, mantente en paz con todas las personas."Esto significa hacer todo lo posible para mantener la paz, pero sin sacrificar los justos principios de Dios. Así es como se manifiesta la madurez cristiana y se preserva la unidad. Todo esto fue posible gracias a las enseñanzas y el amor de Dios por nuestro Padre celestial Jehová.

Hoy en día, incluso la ciencia reconoce la importancia de tal amor. El Presidente de la Fundación para la Investigación de la Salud Mental concluyó: "Con mucho, el descubrimiento más significativo de la ciencia de la psicología es el poder del amor, capaz de proteger y restaurar la mente."

Es natural que cualquier persona viva en paz entre sí, para mantener el equilibrio mental. Para lograr esto, las personas necesitan las leyes de Dios. Solo con su ayuda pueden establecer relaciones entre ustedes y aprender a amar de verdad. Por eso quería llevárselo a la gente.

Comencé a estudiar la Biblia en la edad adulta. Pensé que sabía mucho sobre el amor. Pero cuando leí el pasaje de 1 Corintios 13:4-8, me di cuenta de que no sabía nada y que tenía mucho que aprender. "El amor es sufrido, misericordioso, el amor no envidia, el amor no se exalta a sí mismo, no es orgulloso, no comete ultrajes, no busca lo suyo, no se irrita, no piensa mal, no se regocija en la injusticia, sino que se regocija en la verdad; lo cubre todo, lo cree todo, lo espera todo, lo soporta todo. El amor nunca cesa..."La ley de Cristo se basa en ese amor, que ayuda a buscar oportunidades para manifestar esta hermosa cualidad.

Jesús enseñó a sus seguidores que si aman solo a quienes los aman, entonces su amor es incompleto, insuficiente, defectuoso. Deberían haber perfeccionado el amor, es decir, desarrollarlo al máximo, extendiéndolo incluso a sus enemigos: "Ama a tus enemigos, bendice a los que te maldicen, haz el bien a los que te odian y ora por los que te ofenden y persiguen" (Mateo 5:44).

Para mí, estas no son solo palabras, sino una guía para la acción. Trato de hacer esto por el bienestar de las personas con las que me comunico. Cuanto más hago esto, mejor me siento, porque el amor tiene poder y vence cualquier manifestación de odio.

¿Qué tiene que ver todo esto con mi acusación? Directo. Se me acusa de odio y extremismo. ¡Esto es un error! Mi Dios Jehová ama a las personas y me enseña esto. Él quiere que todos vivamos en paz y seamos felices ahora, y que en el futuro vivamos para siempre en el paraíso en la tierra. Es simplemente imposible aprender algo malo de mi amado Dios. ¿Es posible mostrar amor y ser extremista? Estos son conceptos incompatibles.

I am grateful to Jehovah God for allowing me to be born, that I live on this earth, see the light, hear and can openly talk about my feelings. And he also allowed me to get to know him personally through the Bible and allows me to participate in his plan.

Your Honor, I do not know what decision you will make. But whatever it is, it will not affect my desire to love God and people. My God teaches me to hate evil, but not people. In his Word, the Bible, he discovered a secret weapon with which to defeat evil. It is written about him in the Epistle to the Romans, the 12th chapter, the 21st verse: "Do not be defeated by evil, but defeat evil with good." If God allows it, then I'd rather suffer for good deeds than for evil ones. Because life without a Creator loses all meaning for me.

Your Honor, my friends and I have committed no crime, so I ask you to fully acquit me and my friends.
