 Dear Court, Your Honor, dear participants in the trial! First of all, I want to thank all of you for your patience, for the desire to understand the real case, for the ability to defend yourself, for the ability to accuse.


 I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that all the Jehovah's Witnesses accused here are really innocent. During the court sessions, you found out this. We, all the defendants, understand why we ended up here, being innocent. The Bible says about it: "But first of all they will lay hands on you and persecute you, handing you over to synagogues and prisons, and will lead you before kings and rulers for my name. It will be for you to bear witness" (Luke 21:12, 13). That is, so that in this way the preaching of the joyful news about the heavenly government headed by Jesus Christ, which has long ruled the earth, reached judges, prosecutors, investigators, lawyers, police officers, riot police, FSB, IVS, pre -trial detention centers, colonies and prisons.


 The prophecy of Jesus Christ about the persecution of his disciples is also being fulfilled, and we are also his disciples. It is recorded in the Gospel of John 15:20, 21: "Remember the word that I said to you: a servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you, if they kept My word, they will also keep yours. But they will do all these things to you for My name, because they do not know who sent Me."


 I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the name of the true God, Jehovah, the Creator of everything we see, hear and feel, and on whom the life of any living being depends, was pronounced more often than all other names heard at court sessions. In the Bible, he is also called the judge of the whole earth. Even in the Bible there is his call to the judges living on earth. It sounds like this: "Be wise, kings, learn the judges of the earth!" (Psalm 2:10). The appeal to the judges of the earth sounds due to the fact that the king of the heavenly government expects to see justice in their affairs, because the biblical principle applies: "To whom much is entrusted, more will be exacted from him" (Gospel of Luke 12:48).


 You also learned a lot about the Bible, that its author is God Jehovah, who himself chose certain people to write different bible books at different times of their lives. I also want to say that you, Your Honor, have seen the life of modern true Christians from the inside. You have studied the documents informing about this life, and also learned about it from operational search activities, as a result of which video and audio recordings of various liturgical meetings were made, starting with Bible study with an interested person and ending with liturgical meetings of various meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses in the city of Surgut.


 As Christians, we have nothing to hide from the authorities of our state. And there is nothing to accuse us of — and us, all the defendants, and me separately. I still consider myself and my co-religionists innocent of organizing and financing the liquidated religious association "Local Religious Organization of Jehovah's Witnesses in Surgut" under Part 1 of Article 282.2 and Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and I ask you to acquit me and the other accused, my co-religionists, with the right to rehabilitation.
