In his speech, the believer explained why extremism is alien to him, and stated that he considers the accusations against him groundless. "I could not even imagine that at this age I would be judged. Not for a crime, but for faith in the Creator," Sergey Kuznetsov said.

Transcript of the court session in the Nevinnomyssk City Court of the Stavropol Territory dated 04/18/2023 in the case 1-17/2023 (1-503/2022) on the charges of Sergey Petrovich Kuznetsov and others. in committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Kuznetsov Sergey Petrovich:

"Give thanks for everything" — this is what God expects from those who serve him. And I want to start by thanking you. Each participant in the process did his job, and this work is not easy.

Thank you, Your Honor, that when considering the volumes of the case, you directed that the relevant to my accusation be read out. Thank you for correcting me when the name Jehovah was pronounced incorrectly. For me, as a believer, this is important.

Thanks to Sofia Yurievna, the secretary, for her conscientious work and for her efforts to make everyone comfortable and comfortable.

Thanks also to the representatives of the Prosecutor's office. Although they changed, everyone tried to read louder so that I could hear. And thank you for trying to pronounce God's name correctly.

In the legal maze, without the help of my lawyers, I would have got lost. Thank you, Irina Alexandrovna, Tatiana Vasilyevna and Oksana Viktorovna, for delving into the essence of the matter and helping. And, of course, I am grateful to my friends for their prayers, help, support and presence nearby, despite the weather conditions.

I am very grateful to our Creator Jehovah for His support and for the honor of sanctifying His name in court.

I could not even imagine that at that age I would be judged. Not for a crime, but for faith in the Creator, whose name is Jehovah, and for faith in everything written in the Bible.

I never had any thoughts of doing anything against the state or involving someone in criminal activity. Well, now that I have learned what the Bible teaches, I especially do not allow such thoughts.

It is impossible to combine the teachings of Christ and extremism, just as it is impossible to combine east and west. Having learned about the good, it is natural for a person to share it with others. It is impossible for a Christian to keep silent the good, that is, the good, joyful news about the Kingdom of God. Jesus himself said: "I must preach the glad tidings of the kingdom of God in other cities as well, because that is why I was sent" (Luke 4:43). Moreover, Jesus gives a command to his followers: "Go therefore and teach all nations" (Matthew 28:19).

Your Honor, I ask you to acquit me and dismiss the case, since I am not an extremist, but just a believer. Extremism is unacceptable to me.

I should not be responsible only for the fact that I am sure that what is written in the Bible will be fulfilled. After all, the guarantor of this is the Creator Jehovah himself. In his Word, the Bible, Jehovah says: "So is my word that comes out of my mouth — it does not return to Me in vain, but does what pleases me, and does what I sent it for" (Isaiah 55:11). This means that it will be like this: "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death; there will be no more crying, no more crying, no more sickness; for the former has passed away" (Revelation 21:4). People need it!

Thank you for listening to me.
