Artur Vladislavovich Putintsev: Dear court, dear participants in the trial, I want to begin my speech by thanking you, Your Honor, for treating our religious feelings with great respect and trying to pronounce the name of God correctly, with the right emphasis. I also want to thank the prosecutor for his kindness, and the guards for their human attitude towards us. I also wanted to thank the defenders for their patience, because the process was not easy and very long. You supported us with advice and a warm word. Thanks to those who came to the courts, it was nice to see you. Thank you for your unfailing love. She warmed and warms in the most difficult times of my life. I especially want to thank my own wife Lyudochka. Thank you very much that all these difficult years you have been a real support and support for me and have not missed a single meeting — you have always been there.

And in my last word, I want to briefly say what happened and what I had to go through: the invasion of nine men early in the morning — four of them were armed. The grueling search lasted nine hours; then the arrest. And during this time that we spent in jail, we have suffered, Your Honor. Humiliating content that affected my health and emotional state. During this time, my brother died in the war, and I did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to him. But despite everything I have experienced, I am not embittered, there is no resentment and hatred. I want to share what helped me. This is my God's concern. In the most difficult times, he was always there. Letters of believers from different countries — about 7,000 of them came. These were words of support. They comforted me, and I didn't feel lonely. Their love gave me strength.

We all live in unusual times. We are going through a time when God is shaking all the nations on earth. Have you shaken fruit trees, such as an apple tree or a plum tree? For what? You reached out to some fruits, and some remained on the treetops. Therefore, if you shake the tree, the fruits fall and they are easy to collect. Or you went to the store and you need some change. You know it's in your wallet, but you can't get it right away. Then you can shake the wallet and pour out the coins. This method — to shake something - was invented not by people, but by God. He has been able to do this for a very long time. In the Bible, in the book of Haggai 2:6, 7, God says: "I will shake all nations, and the desired treasures will come from all nations, and I will fill this house with glory." We see: God also uses the shaking technique. He shakes the nations in order to shake all the treasures out of these peoples. As a purse is shaken so that coins fall out, so God shakes the whole earth and wants all the most valuable people to be found.

And how does he shake all nations? Maybe with the help of earthquakes or economic shocks? No! All shocks, such as wars, epidemics, earthquakes, economic crises, are not from God and do not go to any comparison with the shaking that God does. And how does God shake all nations? Through the proclamation of the good news, or glad tidings: "The glad tidings of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the earth, so that all nations will hear it, and then the end will come." This passage has in common with the text from the 2nd chapter of the biblical book of Haggai, in that a shaking occurs throughout the earth.

The glad tidings of the Kingdom are jarring. Why, you may ask. Adam and Eve were created with the ability to live forever on earth. However, this did not happen. And what happened? You can give an example. A child grows up in the family, and his parents tell him that he must obey them. And the child asks: "Why?" Parents answer: "Because we gave birth to you." And the child says: "And I didn't ask you to do this!"

This example shows that people have freedom of choice. God created Adam and Eve free. But they immediately used their right of choice to their detriment. They wanted to be independent of God and decide for themselves what is good and what is evil. God warned them that because of their decision, they and their children would become mortal. But they did not change their decision and appropriated the right of God to decide what is right and what is not. Several thousand years have passed. Look at what independence from God has led to. Humanity is torn apart by crises, they have made a garbage dump out of the planet.

Today, everything says that the faithful prophet Jeremiah was right when he wrote that "his way is not in the power of man, he who goes cannot direct his steps." God understood that people themselves would not be able to successfully rule the planet, they would have serious problems. That's why he didn't give us eternal life. Eternal life is only for those who respect and obey him. Even the short life of an imperfect person is a nightmare. Otherwise, people would have an eternal nightmare without God. Therefore, God says: "If without me, then not for long, and if with me, then forever." That is why the news of the Kingdom of God is shocking. God Jehovah is looking for those who respect him and want to obey him. God wants to shake up all nations in order to find treasures in the form of people who are ready to live according to his standards of good and evil.

Your Honor, I don't understand what my fault is. I don't understand why and why the prosecutor requested such a term for me and what kind of person I need to become after the colony. I have always led a highly moral life, tried to help people, respected the authorities, I have never been an extremist and I will not be. As I was a believer, so I will remain. In the Bible, Romans 13:1 says: "Every person must submit to the highest authorities, because any authority is from God." And the State authorities provide valuable services that contribute to the safety and well-being of their people. The authorities directly help the servants of God, such as the Persian king Cyrus, who in the VI century BC gave the Jews the opportunity to return to Judea and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. And it serves for the benefit of all. There is a legal system through which you can seek justice and receive protection. And I want to ask you, Your Honor, to pass a fair verdict against me and my friends, completely acquitting us.
