Lyudmila Zinina, according to the investigation, participated in the services of Jehovah's Witnesses. For this, she was accused of extremism. Her daughter Irina is also being prosecuted on similar charges.

Lyudmila was born in 1951 in the village of Berezanskaya (Krasnodar Territory). She has a younger sister. Their mother worked as a primary school teacher, labor and physical education, and their father worked in the construction industry.

As a child, Lyudmila was fond of basketball, wrestling and drawing. After school, she studied weaving, and also mastered the specialty of a general nurse. She worked by profession in a medical facility, now retired. In her spare time she likes to grow flowers.

In the 1990s, Lyudmila began to study the Bible thanks to her grandfather, who was a Jehovah's Witness, and in 1999 she made the decision to take the Christian path. She was prompted to do this by reflections on the identity of the Creator and the wonders of nature.

Lyudmila lived in different cities: Krasnodar, Nebit-Dag (now Balkanabat, Turkmenistan), Krasnovodsk (now Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan), Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory), Maykop (Krasnodar Territory). Later, Lyudmila moved to the village of Zarya (Crimea) to look after her mother.

In 1973, the believer married Peter, with whom she had three children - two daughters and a son who died.

The criminal prosecution had a negative impact on Lyudmila's health. The husband worries about her, is ready to support the believer as best he can.
