Biography
Irina Zinina is a peaceful believer from the Krasnodar Territory who faces a prison term just for her beliefs. In February 2022, she was searched and later the woman became a defendant in a criminal case under an extremist article.
Irina was born in November 1987 in Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory). She has an older sister. Their older brother died. Her father is a civil engineer, and her mother, Lyudmila Zinina, worked as a nurse all her life. She also became a defendant in a criminal case for her faith. Irina is attached to her parents, she likes to help and take care of them.
During her life, she managed to master several specialties: she learned to be a dressmaker, cutter, saleswoman, boiler room operator, builder and programmer. In all these areas, Irina worked for some time. In addition, she gained some experience as a nursing assistant. Since childhood, Irina has been fond of dancing. She also enjoys reading, planting flowers and growing vegetables.
Irina's great-grandfather and great-grandmother were Jehovah's Witnesses, so since childhood, the girl was instilled with love for God and the Bible. Over time, Irina decided to take the Christian path.
According to the believer, her health deteriorated due to persecution. She was also temporarily unemployed part-time. “Dad is trying not to show it, but he is worried,” the believer shared.
